It's been a loooong time since I updated. I'm not even sure why since I have been watching tons of stuff and have had things to say about them. I think the problem is just that it eventually got to be so much that it just felt overwhelming to post about it. So I figured I'd start writing and see how long I can go before get tired of it.

A couple of years ago, on the first day of winter, we had people in Stockholm who were stuck in traffic for seven hours (black ice was the culprit if I remember correctly). I thought that was bad, but this NINE DAY traffic jam has to take the cake. Holy crap!

I finally filed my tax return today, and barring any problems, should have a refund coming my way in about a month and a half. And I'm considering spending some of it on the exact same thing I splurged on with my last tax refund: an eReader. Since buying the first one about a year ago I've read about as many books as I did in the six-seven years ( Read more... )

Only 1½ weeks left till my three week vacation! I need to distract myself with TV talk or it'll NEVER get here.

After a few months of not complete and utter horror, I thought that 2008 might make a comeback and not turn out quite as atrocious as I thought it would be. Well, I guess it was just saving up for this past week, because I can now officially say that 2008 is just a huge ball of SUCK.

I am so ready for this year to be over.
